5G is live on air this week with use cases for news and broadcasting. Let’s dive in!

LiveU, a live streaming company, is testing 5G’s impact on broadcasting at the AT&T Foundry in Texas, a facility where 5G use cases can be tested on the provider’s network.

Dell anticipates that 5G’s large amounts of data will be stored on multi-cloud networks. 5G will greatly enhance network virtualization, which also helps make provider services more secure.

A drone delivered a kidney for an organ transplant operation in Maryland. Drones could be a useful tool in speeding up the time-sensitive transportation of donated organs.

5G will infuse connectivity into many everyday objects, greatly increasing the number of mobile devices.

That’s all for this week. See you next time!
