U.S. Cellular will launch 5G in Wisconsin and Iowa in the first quarter of 2020.

CTIA gathered industry experts in Houston and Denver this week to discuss on the promise of 5G for those communities.

New estimates predict global 5G subscriptions will reach 1.5 billion by 2024.

A 5G Innovation Lab in Bellevue, Washington will connect 5G startups to investors and technology labs. The lab is a partnership between T-Mobile, the University of Washington and the City of Bellevue.

Goldman Sachs increased its estimates for the number of 5G devices to be deployed in 2020 from 50 million to 120 million.
