WASHINGTON – Please attribute the following to CTIA® Senior Vice President, Government Affairs, Kelly Cole.

“The wireless industry believes in the power of diversity, inclusion and equal rights protections, and we support the reintroduction of the Equality Act which will amend federal civil rights laws to include the LGBTQ community. We thank Senator Merkley and Congressman Cicilline for their leadership in working to safeguard millions of Americans by explicitly prohibiting discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity in the workplace, housing and other vital areas.”
