CTIA Statement on the American Rescue Plan .
“We applaud Congress and President Biden for enacting the American Rescue Plan of 2021. Thanks to the leadership of Senator Markey and Representative Meng, the Emergency Connectivity Fund will benefit millions of students across the country, giving schools and libraries the flexibility they need to ensure kids are equipped to learn remotely. Since the pandemic began, the wireless industry has connected more than two million kids, and we will continue to work closely with policymakers to help bridge the digital divide.”
