HTC’s Daniel O’Brien Joins CTIA Board .
Washington D.C. – CTIA today announced that Daniel O’Brien, General Manager of Americas region for HTC’s Vive and smartphone business units, has joined CTIA’s Board of Directors effective immediately.
As a long-standing CTIA member, HTC is at the forefront of mobile device innovation and design. HTC empowers millions of consumers with intuitive smartphones and is an industry leader in virtual reality (VR) devices.

With more than 18 years in the wireless and tech industry, O’Brien’s career has spanned the introduction of the mobile industry’s first Android phones to the launch of the first mainstream consumer virtual reality device. Under his leadership, HTC’s Vive VR business has grown to represent the majority share of consumer and enterprise VR use in the U.S.
