CTIA Statement on Missouri Small Cell Infrastructure Bill .
“We commend Representative Shawn Rhoads and Senator Caleb Rowden on the enactment of Missouri House Bill 1991. This legislation will ensure Missourians are 5G ready and prepared to receive the economic and civic benefits that the next-generation of wireless promises to bring to communities small and large. Today, wireless supports 134,000 jobs in the Show Me State, and more than 57% of the state’s adults live in wireless-only households. According to Accenture, the wireless industry will invest nearly $400 million to deploy 5G in Kansas City, and its rollout will create close to 3,000 jobs in St. Louis alone.”
