WASHINGTON – Please attribute the following to CTIA® Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Scott Bergmann.

“We appreciate the FCC’s efforts to continue shining a bright light on the unacceptable practice of diverting 9-1-1 fees. State and local governments undermine public trust and public safety when they divert millions of dollars collected from wireless consumers that are intended to maintain and enhance our nation’s 9-1-1 system.”
