CTIA Backs FCC Caller ID Order in Helping Victims of Threatening Calls .

“When threatening phone calls are made, the wireless industry works closely with law enforcement to quickly provide information necessary to investigate and respond. CTIA believes the FCC’s Caller ID Unmasking Order strikes the right balance between protecting consumer’s personal information and aiding victims and law enforcement during emergencies.”
