CTIA Announces Assurant’s Jeff Unterreiner as New Board Member .
Washington D.C. – CTIA, the wireless industry association, announced today that Jeff Unterreiner, President of U.S. Connected Living at Assurant, has joined CTIA’s Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2020.
Assurant is a global provider of solutions that support, protect and connect major consumer purchases. The company’s offerings include mobile device solutions, extended service contracts and vehicle protection, among others. The Connected Living division integrates its mobile and extended warranty programs to deliver end-to-end product lifecycle management and support for its clients and their connected customers.

Unterreiner has worked for Assurant for over two decades, having begun his career with the company in 1996. Prior to his current position, Unterreiner served as SVP of Assurant’s Global Connected Living team, where he helped clients deliver better customer experiences, increase revenue and build loyalty. In his current position as President of U.S. Connected Living, he is responsible for ensuring operational excellence and leading business and client development opportunities in the U.S.
