CTIA Announces 2019 Officers and New Board Members .
Los Angeles, CA – CTIA, the wireless industry association, today announced its new board chairman and officers for 2019. The 2019 officers will be U.S. Cellular President and CEO Kenneth Meyers as CTIA Chairman, AT&T President of Mobility & Entertainment Group David Christopher as Vice Chairman, Qualcomm President of North America and Australia Mike Finley as Secretary, and Asurion Chairman Bret Comolli as Treasurer.
“CTIA’s member companies are investing billions to build out new 5G wireless networks,” said CTIA President and CEO Meredith Attwell Baker. “The industry expertise represented by the CTIA Board is unparalleled and I look forward to working closely with Ken and our other officers to secure America’s global leadership in 5G.”

Beginning January 1, 2019 and serving for a one-year term, two new board members will join CTIA’s officers and incumbent members on the board of directors:
- Ehsan Gharatappeh, CEO, Cellpoint Corporation
- Michelle Wheeler, Vice President of Market Development, Payfone
