The wireless industry continues their efforts to ensure frontline workers and communities have the support and resources they need. Here are some of the ways wireless companies lent a virtual hand this week:
- AT&T is giving back to America’s teachers, nurses and physicians by extending exclusive savings on their best wireless plans for them and their families starting July 10.
- Verizon is expanding its commitment to first responders with the launch of “5G First Responders Lab”, a collaboration with five companies working to develop 5G-enabled solutions to the most common challenges frontline workers face. Verizon also remains committed to helping low-income families by extending their discount internet program.
- Qualcomm’s Small Business Accelerator Program is continuing to accept applications until July 10t at 11:59 PM PST. Small business can apply for the chance to receive equipment, software, and technical support grants for those affected by COVID-19.
Now more than ever, wireless is playing a critical role in keeping us connected to our family and friends, our jobs, our schools and our communities, and we are proud of our members and the industry for their tireless efforts in these trying times.
