Today, we released a survey that Harris Poll conducted for us, which shows that Americans of all ages love #FreeData, which is watching videos, listening to music, updating social media or using the Internet without it counting against your monthly plan.
Millennials, or those 18-34 years of age, especially love the innovative offering.
- 94% were extremely/somewhat likely to try a new online service if it is a part of a free data offering
- 98% were extremely/somewhat likely to stay with their current provider if it offered free data
- 94% were extremely/somewhat likely to use more data if it didn’t count against their monthly data usage
- 77% were extremely/somewhat likely to sign-up with a new wireless provider offering free data
All adults were similar in their enthusiasm for #FreeData:
- 84% were extremely/somewhat likely to try a new online service if it is a part of a free data offering
- 93% were extremely/somewhat likely to stay with their current provider if it offered free data
- 85% were extremely/somewhat likely to use more data if it didn’t count against their monthly data usage
- 65% were extremely/somewhat likely to sign-up with a new wireless provider offering free data
Wireless consumers spoke loudly and clearly: wireless companies need to be able to continue to offer innovative products and services like #FreeData.
