CTIA – The Wireless Association® Commends Chairman Martin and FCC on 700 MHz Success

WASHINGTON, DC – CTIA - The Wireless Association® President and CEO Steve Largent issued the following statement today in response to the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) announcement that the 700 MHz auction has concluded: 

“CTIA and its member companies would like to thank Chairman Martin, the Commissioners and the Wireless Bureau for running a timely and effective auction.
 
“While the license winners of the 700 MHz auction may not yet be known, the true winners in this auction will be American consumers who once again will get to experience the innovation and other valuable benefits of a truly competitive wireless marketplace.”
