When going away on vacation we all create pre-trip checklists that often include common safety items such as sunscreen, bug spray and travelers checks. While trips require you pay attention and plan for non-everyday emergencies there is one item we all carry these days that is a vital safety tool regardless of where you are or what you are doing. Your wireless device can help handle any emergencies or last minute situations that might come up in your everyday life or while you’re away from home.

    It’s important to know how to store and access wireless phone numbers you might need in an emergency. Make sure you have numbers of your family members, friends, medical professionals, and any other emergency contacts.

  • Activate Your Video, Picture Messaging, Voice Activation, and GPS Functions.
    Mapping destinations, locating emergency services, pinpointing locations, and capturing photos are just some of the numerous ways your wireless phone can increase safety. Acquaint yourself with all of the great safety features on your wireless device. 

  • Double-check for Reliable Batteries and Battery Charging Equipment.
    Check your batteries to ensure they’re in good working order, and always take a charger and a car charger with you. It’s always good to have a back-up power source in case you need it!

  • Utilize Locks and Passwords on your Device.
    Make it a priority to protect your personal information should your wireless device fall into the wrong hands.
