CTIA’s VC Innovation Council

In 2010, CTIA - The Wireless Association® formed the VC Innovation Council. Select venture industry partners communicate with CTIA on wireless innovation trends, best practices, and global developments that are affecting VC investment choices. VC investments greatly impact the wireless industry by funding innovation which is a key driver of wireless industry growth into the future. VC investments in the mobile industry reached $6 billion in 2010. VC Innovation Council members serve to assist CTIA reach its’ mission to foster wireless innovation by identifying broad industry wide growth potential and areas in which impediments can be overcome with CTIA-lead task forces. Kate Kingberger, Director of Wireless Internet Development at CTIA, leads the Council.
