Mobile Financial Services Action Team

Description of the Action Team:
The Team’s mission is to create a foundation for common functionality for mobile payments, & to address consumer & merchant needs for simple, secure, & interoperable mobile payment choices. It is probable that this team would communicate guidance on technology standards that are available in the marketplace. The purpose of this action team is to work together to overcome Industry Impediments.

Key Deliverables:
Carrier members worked together to create Guidelines that provide Application Providers, Carriers, and ultimately the Consumer, a common expectation of Safety and Security for mobile banking, commerce and payments products and services.

• These Industry Guidelines communicate a unified approach which ensure that consumer protecting practices are keystone within partner relationships in the Mobile Financial Ecosystem.
