VoCoMo is a part of FMG Inc., an 18 year pioneer within the interactive dating category. FMG Inc. helps millions of customers on a monthly basis interact for friendship, romance and love. VoCoMo's text dating/flirt services were launched in August 2004, in an effort to support this substantial community. The VoCoMo service includes the use of specific short-code/keyword combinations, customized messages based on their brand, web APIs, 24/7 customer call center support, tracking and reporting. The service is unique in that it provides for a highly localized search function, delivering the closest people to you, indexed by orientation (str8, Gay, Bi). In addition, the service provides a patent-pending, integrated SMS/voice chatline feature called TalkNow. This unique positioning allows users of the VoCoMo service to 'Text – Talk – Date.' More >

VoCoMo's customers are marketing and media companies, audiotext companies, dating service providers and mobile content companies. VoCoMo partners can choose either resale or license options, and earn 50%-60% revenue share. VoCoMo also provides the use of a standard rated short code which can be used for promotion of the service to customers. The text dating community covers all of North America.

Product Overview
Customers have the option of responding to a call to action by registering for the service via web or MO. Price points for messages can be from $.50 to $.99 per message received. TalkNow sessions are free for end users, and help give the service a 'speed dating'-like experience. Not only are customers able to text; they can talk in real time! VoCoMo has created a unique platform that provides a customer experience that most closely replicates a live, interactive dialogue between interested suitors. Currently there are four different short codes at varying price points that VoCoMo uses to support the community. More >

An example of the interaction is as follows:
MO: Flirt to 55425
MTs: initial registration MT(s) from 55425

Once the registration is complete, customers can text anonymously between each other. For example Paul sends a message to suzi123.

Paul sends MO: suzi123 hey there I'm paul, your profile looks really cool, how r u 2day?

Suzi123 receives MT: FROM Paul438 23 str8 <10 miles, hey there I'm paul, your profile looks really cool, how r u 2day?

To search for users closest to you, customers text the word GET and they then receive profiles of users that match their profileand who are geographically closest to them!

The CSC initiative has provided a simple way for VoCoMo to monetize the value of providing customers a venue to 'text, talk and date.'

Common short codes (CSCs) are administered by a single CSC Administrator (CSCA) - CTIA-The Wireless Association® - for a group of U.S. wireless carriers. In addition, the CSCA oversees the technical and operational aspects of CSC functions and maintains a single database of available, reserved, and registered CSCs.
