Text2HELP
We've all seen the horrible images of what's going on in southern California with the wildfires, and heard story after story of the loss of property and the tragic loss of life. Whether you're thousands of miles away or virtually in the area's backyard, as we are here at the show in San Francisco, you probably want to help in some way. And you can.
Right now. Pick up your cellphone and text the word "GIVE" to 2HELP (24357), and you'll donate $5 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund via the wireless industry's Text2HELP initiative.
The program was launched in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, and is used to help the American Red Cross with its invaluable disaster relief assistance. The ARC is the preeminent relief organization of the world, and right now you can be part of the much-needed work that's going on in southern California.
Hundreds of thousands of our fellow Americans are out of their homes right now... and more than a thousand of those homes are gone. If you want to help, just Text2HELP, and spread the word. Thanks!
