Wave: How do you see the year ahead in terms of your interaction with CTIA as chairman?
Mr. McAdam: Over the years I’ve had different levels of involvement with CTIA, so I know its history reasonably well. Now that I’m back on the CTIA Board and serving as chairman, I’ve been able to get to know Steve (Largent) and his team better, and I just want to say how very impressed I am with the skills and the capability of the organization.
My goal as chairman is to call on those talented individuals as quarterbacks, of sorts, and to have all the carriers working with them around one set of objectives.
I think we can bring the power of the CTIA organization together with the industry, and set the industry up very well for the next several years. That’s my primary objective as chairman.
