Office of General Counsel

The CTIA Office of General Counsel provides legal counsel to all CTIA Departments, and also manages outside counsel when necessary. The Office of General Counsel also provides numerous membership benefits such as assisting other CTIA Departments in the preparation and filing of comments and other advocacy papers at the FCC, NTIA, DHS and other key federal regulatory agencies. 

The Office of General Counsel also provides aggressive wireless industry representation, where necessary, in state and federal courts, anti-trust counsel for CTIA activities, up-to-date information for pending regulatory proceedings, court cases and other legal developments, and works with other CTIA Departments to provide in-depth and timely legal updates on critical wireless issues, such as wireless local number portability ("WNP"), interconnection and universal service fund ("USF") issues.
